Registration Fees

To attend the 18th Advanced Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Workshop 2014, the costs are as follows:

The cost includes lectures, discussion of surgery, official meeting documents, welcome cocktail party, lunch and coffee breaks and admission to the Conference Dinner. The only items that are required to be paid separately are accommodation, meals for partners and extra tickets for the Gala Dinner.

Plastic Surgery & nursing stuff and Plastic Surgery trainees are encouraged to attend at the subsidised registration fee. Registration includes all the lectures, welcome cocktail party, meals and bus transfer, as well as a ticket to the Conference Dinner.

Registration for partners attending the workshop include the Welcome Reception and Saturday Gala Dinner. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday lunches will be the responsibility of individuals.

N.B. To allow us to meet our conference commitments, registrations received after January 20 2014 will be subject to a late fee (see table above).

Cancellations will be subject to a handling fee of $50.00.

Refund of registration fee cannot be guaranteed for cancellations after February 13 2014.

Parking

Valet parking is available at each of the Crown hotels;

Towers – $50 per 24 hours
Metropol – $50 per 24 hours
Promenade – $30 per 24 hours

For any Workshop attendees who are not staying in-house, complimentary car parking is available in the multi-deck car park at Crown. Simply bring your ticket with you to the workshop and a refund will be organised.

Airport Transfers

A complimentary bus shuttle has been organised to take delegates from the Crown Promenade foyer to the Melbourne Airport. The shuttle will depart Sunday at 2.00pm from Crown Promenade and arriving at Tullamarine airport at approximately 2.45pm

Please note that bookings are essential as places are limited. To book the shuttle bus simply choose the number of seats you require while registering.

The 2014 Workshop’s extensive program will provide an in depth study of the most up to date techniques to “Shape The Body”. Advanced lipo procedures incorporating safety issues, a comprehensive instructional course on ‘Gluteoplasty’, and a unique “Corset Trunkoplasty” concept will feature. There will be an update on bariatric surgery techniques and input from other specialties. A team of local experts will join our experienced international guests to help make the 18^th Advanced Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Workshop “Shape our future”.

Our aim is to educate in the many aspects of body contour surgery including management of the massive weight loss patient and to raise the standards of management for the betterment of our specialty and hence to improve patient outcomes.

The Workshop will commence with a welcome cocktail party on the evening of Thursday 20th February 2014 and finish at lunchtime on Sunday 23rd February 2014. It will include didactic teaching, video presentations of surgical procedures and panels for discussion. Interaction of all participants with our guests will be encouraged.

We encourage you to not only support this meeting, which has become entrenched in our yearly plastic surgery calendar, but also to become involved with all participants to help us make this a great meeting to the mutual benefit of all plastic surgeons, plastic surgery trainees, dedicated plastic surgery nurses and the trade.

This year the Workshop is being held at the Crown Conference Centre in Southbank. Crown is located in the heart of the action — Melbourne’s vibrant Southbank entertainment precinct. Crown Conference Centre is adjacent to the Crown Entertainment Complex, close to the CBD, the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, and the city’s most famous arts and sporting facilities.
